If you live in the SVEC Marion County service area and you are not served by a telephone cooperative, you can sign-up for SVEConnect fiber optic internet! We will be connecting all of Marion County (excluding non-SVEC areas and areas served by telephone cooperatives) and will get to everyone.

SVEConnect is available to SVEC members, both residential and business, in eligible parts of Marion County.

 

Where are the eligible areas? Anywhere in the SVEC area of Marion County that is NOT served by a telephone cooperative. The area of Monteagle, for example, would not be eligible for service due to a telephone cooperative operating in that area. 

Why are we serving only Marion County? The Tennessee Broadband Accessibility Act passed in 2017 made it legal for electric cooperatives to provide internet, television and telephone services ONLY in areas where telephone cooperatives did not operate. For SVEC, the only area in our service area where there is not a telephone cooperative is Marion County, excluding Monteagle.
