Important Emergency Broadband Benefit Program Updates
SVEConnect joined the Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) Program this past July. The EBB is a temporary FCC program to help families and households struggling to afford internet service during the COVID-19 pandemic. Congress recently created the Affordable Connectivity Program, a new long-term, $14 billion program, which will replace the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program. This investment in broadband affordability will help ensure we can afford the connections we need for work, school, health care and more for a long time.
Households enrolled in the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program as of 12/31/21 will continue to receive their current monthly benefit until 3/1/22.
For more information on the program changes, go to https://www.fcc.gov/broadbandbenefit
If you apply and you are deemed as "qualified" for this benefit, it is very important that you forward the qualification email and a good contact number to firstname.lastname@example.org so the bill credit can be added to your account. We will need to call you, so please include a good call back number!
Please note: you may get a message that you qualify for benefits, however, SVEConnect will need to enter your information in the FCC database for final approval.
The EBB is a temporary program that expires 3/1/2022.
The Affordable Connectivity Program is a new long-term program with no foreseeable expiration.
